Regenerative Agriculture
Course Description
The regenerative ag learning hub is a one-month asynchronous course designed to equip participants with practical knowledge and tools to navigate emerging opportunities in sustainable agriculture. Specifically, the learning hub will offer modules covering topics ranging from a broad overview of regenerative agriculture practices to more specific topics such as nutrient management, monitoring soil health, and NRCS program assistance. Finally, upon successful completion of the entirety of the curriculum, participants will have gained valuable insight into the use of regenerative agriculture practices in Nebraska and how they could impact their farming operation.
Learning Objectives
- Increase the understanding and adoption of regenerative agriculture practices on farms in Nebraska.
- Develop a foundational understanding of core principles in regenerative agriculture and their impact on soil health, water conservation, and farm resilience.
- Explore how to monitor changes related to regenerative agriculture practices and what those changes mean.
